They appeared at the The Scene Has Been Built Together compilation too but they typed wrong writing "Whackykids" instead "Wacky Kids"... Brazil has a such sick old skate punk bands, check it out: Nitrominds, Predial, Small Talk, Barneys...

    1. hey man! Brazil has so many good bands and most of them I never heard.. I have one really good CD by Small Talk but do you know if they released something else ?
also I wonder wat kind of relation Wacky Kids had with Quebec as they appeared on that comp you mentioned as the only band outside of Quebec (with Bickley) and were featured on the split with NSF made by quebec label Freedumb. As far as I know the band never came to play in Quebec...

    2. Hey Louis!! :D so, for my knowledge Small Talk released two albuns only: Always in the Same Room (1998) and Laugh on the Wrong, Side of Ones Mouth (2005), after that i don't know if they released something more but i figure that after they only participated in compilations... wow good question! so, i don't know which relation WK have with Quebec, i remember that these days i've checked out their fb page and i saw one photo of this compilation at their profile https://www.facebook.com/WackyKids/photos/a.272574032882305.1073741830.272531762886532/272574072882301/?type=3&theater and in that time i figure that the Quebec punk scene no one that didn't live in Canada knew, i figure that they were invited by another band

  3. For the Quebec - Wacky Kids relation. I think back in the day that Freedumb records wanted to have skatepunk bands outside Quebec in their lineup such as Wacky Kids even if they never came to Quebec. They got Reward from Trois-Rivières as I remember. Maybe there was some kind of friendliness through internet that leads to this...

    1. good point! I think there was a similar relation with Ballpoint from Australia. They're from the other side of the world and came to play in Quebec while they did not get as much attention in their own country. Same thing with G.A.S. Drummers, went to play in Quebec got their album released in Quebec but were they that big ? I don't think they were really big even in their own country.. they must have been friend with Quebec people, like you say..
